CMHA was featured in the Spring 2016 edition of Affordable Housing News magazine. The article "The Power of a Great Neighbor" emphasizes the work the agency is doing, along with partners and residents, to stabilize neighborhoods by creating high-quality developments throughout Hamilton County. The article describes the work being done by agency with the following statement, "Housing authority creates a sense of community through attention to detail, focus on residents."

"The Power of a Great Neighbor" includes information about the construction and sustainability of The Reserve on South Martin and Cary Crossing. Chief Operating Officer Reema Ruberg is featured in the article highlighting CMHA's affordable housing solutions. Ruberg stated, "In any of our developments, you're going to see a significant change in the quality level of construction, finishes and products. We are also always looking for new energy efficiencies and ways to reduce our carbon footprint."
CMHA partners with community leaders and residents to learn and understand the community's needs. It was discovered that several Hamilton County communities are in need of affordable senior housing. CMHA has recently answered the call with The Reserve in Mt. Healthy, Baldwin Grove in Springfield Township and a groundbreaking will be held later this year for a 70 unit development in Colerain Township to be named West Union Square. In addition, Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) awarded 9% Low Income Tax Credits for the development of Cary Crossing, a 36 unit site for persons with disabilities.
An advertisement in Affordable Housing News also highlighted the partnership between OCCH and CMHA. You can see the ad and read the full story here.
